Apogee discontinues Symphony Mobile PCIe Card
Apogee’s Symphony Mobile PCIe cards have been the popular solution for audio professionals seeking a mobile, multi-channel workstation for use with Apogee’s Symphony I/O, X-Series and Rosetta Series converters. Due to a lack of component availability and emerging connectivity protocols like Thunderbolt, Apogee is discontinuing the Symphony Mobile PCIe card. We will be refocusing our efforts on new products and product upgrades that take advantage of other I/O connectivity standards. Though no further development or production will take place for this product, Apogee tech support is dedicated to answering questions and providing information to existing Symphony Mobile customers.

We haven’t been able to talk to some Apogee employee to get more information about this. But we will be at the Musik Messe 2011 in Frankfurt, where we’ll get more information about this hopefully. Please stay tuned.
